This blog about food in the great city of Washington D.C. I am not a foodie. I’m far too unsophisticated for that. You’re likely to not see reviews here on Zagat rated restaurants or establishments feature a top chef or two, though those aren’t out of the question. For those and other great restaurants I direct you to the great site of www.dcfoodies.com, they have done some great work in the DC area reviewing many fine restaurants.
What you will find here is a guy that likes to eat and talk about it. I speak my mind and if I think the place sucks, it sucks, and I’ll say it. If not, I’ll be the first to praise the deliciousness of the menu. I love to find little places that go missed. They aren’t four star anything, they are just a shop and a kitchen with good tasting food. The chefs may not be on anyone’s watch list but they know how to cook!
I also have a love of all things Beer. So to add some depth to this site I will also be giving my two cents on the great tasting beers that I run across. So stay tuned for some good food and beer reviews!
